Pastor Chuck Smith - In 1965, Pastor Chuck Smith began his ministry at Calvary Chapel Costa Mesa. Only twenty-five people attended. What began as a small chapel has now grown into a church that seats over 2000 and is filled almost nightly. From the beginning, Pastor Chuck welcomed all, young and old, without judgment, placing his emphasis on the teaching of the Word of God. His simple, yet sound, biblical approach draws 25,000 people weekly.

With a sincere concern for the lost, Pastor Chuck made room in his heart and his home for a generation of hippies and surfers; generating a movement of the Holy Spirit that spread from the West Coast to the East Coast, bringing thousands of young people to Jesus Christ. Included among this generation of new believers were Greg Laurie, Mike MacIntosh, Raul Ries, and Skip Heitzig, as well as hundreds of others who now have ministries of their own.

In March of 2006 Jon left Carmen Serdan to move back to southern Oregon to join his son Peter-John Courson pastoring at Applegate Christian Fellowship. He also continues to teach the pastor training school which was relocated to the Mountaintop Retreat Center, which is a part of the ministry of Applegate Christian Fellowship. Along with this move came the transition away from the standard Senior Pastor role at Applegate for Peter-John, his eldest son. Applegate now has three Teaching Pastors, Jon, Peter-John, and Jon's youngest son, Ben. Jon lives in Southern Oregon with his wife Tammy. They have four children and two grandchildren. Jon's first wife went home to be with the Lord a number of years ago. Jessie, his eldest daughter, went home to be with the Lord when she was 16 years old. Both died in car accidents. WEBSITE

Pastor Clark Van Wick grew up in Orange County, California. Although he received salvation as a young boy, it was not until 1982 when he truly began living for the Lord. It was also at this time when he met and married his wife, Sally. Clark and Sally became part of the fellowship at Calvary Chapel Costa Mesa, where they grew in the Lord, and began serving in the Children's Ministry.

In 1989, Clark, Sally, and their two sons moved from Orange County to Temecula, where the Lord put it on Clark's heart to attend Bible College in Vista. Simultaneously, the Lord opened the door for Clark to lead a home Bible study. It began as a small group of people meeting to study the Word, and share Christ's love with one another. However, within a year, the once small group had grown substantially, and group members asked Clark to change the meeting day to Sunday, and become their pastor. This was the most humbling experience of Clark's life, but he accepted, knowing this is where the Lord called him. Shortly thereafter, the property for Calvary Chapel Bible Fellowship was purchased in Temecula Wine Country, where the congregation meets today.

Aside from pastoring the Bible fellowship, Clark is also an instructor at the Calvary Chapel Bible College in Murrieta, California, and often speaks at conferences, events, and retreats. Clark has a passion for Israel, and leads a group of pastors and congregation members through a Biblical tour of the Holy Land twice a year. In his spare time, Clark enjoys studying the Word, surfing, and spending time with his grandchildren.

Pastor Brent Yim is the Senior Pastor at Temecula Community Church and Administrator at Temecula Christian School. Since surrendering his life to God in the spring of 2001, the Lord has radi- cally displaced his life with a divine passion to see the "Body of Christ" fully walk in the abundant life that is provided through the person and work of Jesus Christ. Being personally convinced that we are on the verge of seeing the imminent return of Jesus for His Church, Pastor Brent's desire is that God's people would soberly redeem the time by fulfilling their God-given responsibilities in Christ; especially in the context of family. When Brent isn't reading, writing, or studying,he loves spending time with his wife, Andrea, and their two sons Jaiden and Micah. Update: Pastor Brent Yim, after battling with stage 4 Brain Cancer was united with the Lord in 2012. Please keep his wife Andrea, and their two sons Jaiden and Micah in your prayers. WEBSITE
